Bodegas "LA PURISIMA"

Since 1946, Bodegas “La Purísima” has been selecting and crafting the fruit from the finest vineyards to create THE GREAT WINES OF YECLA. A commitment to quality, innovation, and winemaking tradition, recognized with numerous international awards and the trust of thousands of customers worldwide.

The DOP Yecla Designation of Origin is located in the Murcian Plateau, at an altitude ranging from 500 to 900 meters. It is crossed by numerous mountain ranges running northeast to southeast. The most important mountain formations are the Sierra del Cuchillo, the Sierra Salina, and the Serral.

These soils originated primarily from sediments from the Pliocene period (2 billion years ago). They share a common pH: they are all alkaline soils with an average pH of 8, poor in organic matter and with low total nitrogen content.

Yecla has a dry continental climate, with very hot summers reaching up to 39°C and cold winters, with temperatures dropping to -10°C on the coldest days. The average temperature in Yecla is approximately 15°C.
